About Weird Beluga Studio
Weird Beluga Studio is a Spanish indie developer based in Madrid. Their debut game, Clid the Snail (2021), won awards through Sony's PlayStation Talents program and was praised for its unique top-down shooter gameplay. Duskfade is their second title and first 3D action platformer.
The narrative was shaped by Ricardo Chorques Mesa, whose real experience of losing his grandfather inspired the game's themes of grief and memory. Each boss represents an emotional hurdle — Wrath, Guayota, Sadness, The Watcher and Despair — making the combat a metaphor for personal growth. See our Boss Guide for the fight-by-fight breakdown.
