Time Rift Challenges

Each setting hides a Time Rift — a self-contained arena where Zirian's mastery of combat and platforming is put to the test. They are optional but rewarding, and they double as the best practice for the toughest boss phases.

Why They Matter

Time Rifts are the skill-check side content. Clearing them is also tied to several trophies/achievements, so they pull double duty for completionists.

The Stained-Glass Secret (Biggest Mystery)

The broken stained-glass pieces are, by player and preview accounts, the most obscure collectible in Duskfade. They require going back through each world and "turning over every stone" — many are only reachable once late-game traversal abilities are unlocked.

Reassembling them reveals one of the game's biggest secrets: a deeper layer of lore about the Master Clockmakers and the true history of the world. For most players this content is never seen — which is exactly why it is the ultimate completionist trophy.

See our Endings & Post-Game guide for how this secret ties into the finale.

Tips for 100% Completion

Secrets & Collectibles — FAQ

What is the biggest secret in Duskfade?

The stained-glass secret — reassembling broken stained-glass pieces scattered across every world reveals the game's deepest lore.

Where are Tailord's kittens?

They are a collectible quest spanning all regions, given by Tailord the tailor in Tick Town. Catching them all unlocks a special outfit achievement.

What are Time Rifts?

Optional combat-and-platforming challenge arenas hidden in each setting; clearing them is tied to several trophies/achievements.

Do I need abilities to get everything?

Yes. Late-game traversal (glider, zip lines, grapple) opens areas unreachable earlier. Revisit after the story.

Are collectibles missable?

No currently reported missables. The post-game lets you sweep everything.

How do I find Rainbow Ingots and dye?

They sit on hard-to-reach ledges and as exploration payoffs. Use movement upgrades and revisit with the full kit.

What do antique coins do?

Spend them in the hub world (Tick Town) to buy cards for your collection.

How long to 100% the collectibles?

Full completion (including the stained-glass secret) is about 15–20 hours total. See How Long to Beat.
