Duskfade 100% Completion Guide

Duskfade is structured around four paths leading to the four chains that seal the Clock Tower, plus an opening mission and a long final encounter. Tick Town is the hub, and the world of Tearfeld holds roughly 20 named regions. Getting 100% means finishing the story and sweeping every optional pickup — and doing it in the right order is the difference between 15 hours and 25.

The Efficient Route

  1. Play the story first on Story Mode. Grab only what sits directly on your path — forcing early pickups is the biggest time sink in the game.
  2. Do the four paths in order. Each one hands you a new traversal tool; don't backtrack across the map mid-path.
  3. Unlock the full kit. Hookshot (from Arpeggio) → Stopwatch (Time Flux Channeler, after Lantern Port) → Timebomb (Timeflux Channeler III) → Crunia's Wings (Clockmaker's Rest) → Sundial.
  4. Post-story sweep, region by region. Work back down the region list with all abilities — this is where the Star Core Fragments, Rainbow Ingots and kittens fall into place.
  5. Finish with the obscure items. Leave the stained-glass pieces and the last Cross Time Rifts for the end, when you know every region's layout.
  6. Spend in Tick Town last. The Traveler restocks (including a second Rainbow Ingot), so check the bottom of his list before you call the run done.
The One Thing Players Miss

The Traveler's second Rainbow Ingot in Tick Town. His stock changes as you progress — if you never scroll to the bottom of his list, you can finish the game stuck one ingot short.

What the Difficulty Setting Changes

Duskfade has multiple difficulty settings and they shift your total time. Lowering the challenge trims hours off encounters and boss fights; raising it adds playtime through tougher combat. No achievement or collectible is difficulty-gated, so Story Mode is the efficient choice for a 100% run.

100% Completion — FAQ

How long does 100% take in Duskfade?

Roughly 15–20 hours for full completion. A story-only run is 10–15 hours, and a trophy/achievement cleanup on Story Mode is about 9–12.

Should I collect everything during the story?

No. Take what is directly on your path, then sweep after the story. Several areas are unreachable until you have Crunia's Wings, the Stopwatch or the Sundial.

How many regions are there?

About 20 named regions across four themed paths, plus the Tick Town hub and the endgame areas.

Is anything missable?

Nothing has been reported as missable or glitched. Regions remain open after the credits.

Do I need a New Game+?

No. Post-game free roam is enough to finish every collectible and achievement.

What is the hardest part of 100%?

The stained-glass pieces — they are far more obscure than everything else and need a genuine sweep of every world.

Does difficulty affect achievements?

No. Everything can be earned on Story Mode.
